About ABC
SInce 1978, ABC has been serving families in the Greater Bangor area with the highest quality of early education and childcare. We are proudly the longest standing preschool center in the State. We pride ourselves in preparing students emotionally, socially and educationally for Kindergarten and beyond. We offer full day Pre-Kindergarten, two Preschool Programs, childcare and before and school care for the Brewer Community School. Through a combination of play, social groups, community outreach and educational centers we provide a safe, fun and well rounded environment for students to learn and grow. We follow “Handwriting without Tears” for a literacy program and focus much of our attention on social development and learning through play. We work closely with CDS (Child Development Services) to provide developmental screenings and support for students in need.
Our Staff
All of our teachers and childcare workers are CPR and first aid certified, and are required to maintain at least 20 hours of related trainings each year. Our team of four teachers all have an educational background and have worked together for 10+ years. Our team of childcare professionals are fun, caring and all have a love and background in childcare/education. Our pick up and drop off routine allows for parent and teacher interaction each day. We at ABC do all we can to provide a school family environment with all of our staff and families.
